Call Description:This exhibition explores the meaning of dreams in our lives; both aspirational and literal dreams inspire us in life as in art. As creatives we live in the spring at the intersection of dream and waking; the confluence of dream, where all is possible, and our creation, where it is realized - sometimes in ways we don?t anticipate.

About our juror: Watercolorist, Betsy Jacaruso, received her BFA with honors from the Pratt Institute of Art and Design in Brooklyn, NY in 1979. Through the years, she has gained the reputation for being not only a talented painter, but also a gifted instructor who teaches drawing and painting techniques as a way of realizing individual vision. Her students find her mastery of watercolor painting invaluable in the process of learning to handle the complexities of the medium.
Her current work explores atmosphere and luminosity in landscape, and has been featured in both regional and international exhibitions, as well as represented in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
Betsy is the owner of an art studio and gallery in the heart of Rhinebeck. She has also gained the reputation of being incessantly active in promoting the arts in her community and is a frequent participant in local shows, auctions, and fundraiser
Submission Details:
Please submit from 1 to 4 art pieces as standard jpegs no larger than 5 MB for consideration using entrythingy.
Fee: $25 for the first 2 pieces and $5 each for up to 2 more, maximum 4 pieces.
Artists 18 years and older living in the United States are invited to submit up to four works of original fine art for juror consideration. All 2-dimensional artwork will be considered.
Work must be for sale. 25% of all sales will be collected by Artists' Collective of Hyde Park ('ACHP').
Work must be original artwork (no reproduction prints, example: a giclee of a watercolor).
Work must be submitted by the artist. More details on the submission page after you sign in to entrythingy.
